We are proud to be 100% volunteer operated, so we always have something you can help out with!

 

• Events - Special events like fundraisers and adoption events take lots of work. Jobs include planning and organizing, finding sponsors, promoting and advertising, selling tickets, setting up, taking down and other jobs. We would love to hear from people who enjoy doing any or all of these things!

• Cleaning at PetSmart- We're responsible for taking care of the cats in the PetSmart Adoption Center. The cats need to be fed and litter boxes cleaned twice a day, once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. Volunteers clean litter boxes and cages, provide food and fresh water, and interact with the cats. Depending on how much time spent cuddling it usually takes 30 minutes to an hour. You can choose one shift a week or more. It's not hard and we'll show you how to do it.

• Cutting bedding - We're lucky to have tons of clean, used bedding donated by local businesses. But it needs to be cut down to size. This is a great job for folks who prefer to stay close to home.

• More! We're very open to other offers of help too depending on what you can do. Legal advice, grant writing, help with trapping, running errands, web publishing, photography, accounting...if it helps cats, let us know!
