It's January 5, 2019, and we've made some changes to our website.
These changes should hopefully make it easier for us to get the word out about events, fundraisers, adoptable cats and kittens and any needs that we might have for materials or assistance.
Periodically through the year, we have events that are fundraisers: the Wild About Chili Feed, the Cowboy Supper, Wild about Wine and Beer and other fun stuff. We also have the Kitten Shower in the spring and last year was our first year at the State Capitol building for the State Employee Charitable Giving Campaign.
Sometimes we need to reach out to the community, like last year when Ray was abducted from the Sanctuary. Community response that was generated from our facebook posts helped immensely in getting Ray safely back so that he could get the medical attention he so badly needed.
Our most pressing need though is two-fold: We need people to adopt cats and care for them, and we need funding to take care of the cats that we rescue and care for. The community has been fantastic with their help over the years, and there's a growing knowledge in the cat community about our organization. With this blog and updated website, we would like to keep that awareness growing and make it easier for the public to see what cats are available, aside from just those at Petco, and to let the community know what kinds of things we are up to.
So keep your eyes on our Facebook page and this website to see big things for 2019! Happy New Year all!!
Hey all! Hope everyone is enjoying the relative warmth before the cold and snow are supposed to hit this weekend!
Just a reminder that we are still here and chugging along. If you are doing a "Kon-Marie" on your home or garage (clearing out old stuff) please remember us with any donations of bedding, towels, etc.
Thank you all for your interest in our work!
